Definitely a good point to make WOT. I was hoping mine was just something they knocked loose during the battery enhancement since I had just gotten it done. My screen has been consistently going on/off while going down the road so I would guess the screen is defective. It now will go to a purple color, go completely off, flicker and then come back on. This happened a few times today when I was running errands.

WoponTour: I just posted on another thread that my driver console screen went black after 3,500 miles on my 2013. If the driver side goes black and the center console screen doesn't, it couldn't be the dimming dial, could it, since they dim in tandem? Dealer diagnosed a fault that shorted out the cluster assembly.

I had my driver's LCD screen replaced last year. It has worked fine since then except for one issue. It reset my EV miles on everything linked to Onstar. That is SO annoying as I have over 20,000 EV miles and the RemoteLink app shows I have 12,000 EV miles and so does that Volt DC app too. I have been in contact with OnStar for months. They call me once a month to tell me the issue hasn't been resolved. You would think that having the correct mileage data from my car would be important to GM?? My only way to track my EV miles is through Volt Stats.

Mine was the Center Stack not responding. Dim with a message at the bottim "Power Off" while driving. I drove 18 miles (stopped and restarted the Volt twice to try to fix it). When I got to work I called the dealer and by noon it had healed itself so the dealer said keep an eye on it. This only happened once and it was the second day I had the car. Not sure if this qualifies as a screen issue or not

I can get my center stack LCD screen to freeze on demand.

Try this and let me know if you can replicate this issue.

The link above seems to only affect 2013 Volts with MyLink & Navigation.
2013 Volt: Summit White, Pebble Beige leather.
Fully loaded: Premium Trim, Navigation, MyLink, Polished Aluminum 17-inch rims, Enhancement Packages 1 & 2, Lane-Departure warnings, Forward-Collision alerts, Enhanced AT-PZEV (for Carpool/HOV access), DIC Live Power Usage/Regen Gauge, DIC Following Distance Gauge, Bose Sound System, Parking Assist, removable rear seat armrest/storage bin, and the new engine HOLD drive mode.
    See my car.

I have my 2013 model, about 3 months old, has ~ 2200 miles on it. I have visited dealer 2 times already

1st trip to dealer (after 1 week of ownership): couldn't change temp setting and defrost button froze. – The car was kept in dealer for a whole week. Dealer replaced HVAC module.

2nd trip to dealer (today): the center LCD screen blacked out, I ran to the dealer and left the power on. Technician turned main power on/off few times then it lights up again. - I am on rental car now, expect to be in the dealer for couple of days.

    I am SO DISAPOINTED!!!

I had my HVAC do the same thing. They ended up replacing the HVAC module. My LCD screen failed a short time after that. It was replaced and I had my car back within 2 days. I haven't had any issues (with the electronics) since those issues which was over a year ago. Don't get to upset. It is a robust car with limited issues. I have 28,000 miles (20k EV) and it still operates like the day I drove it off the lot.
