    Default Another potential new owner - Washington State

    Hi Folks!

    Like many of you, I've done my research, done my test rides, and I'm really impressed. I want a Volt - but I want the right one.

    Craig Benedict at Chevrolet of Issaquah, Wa has been very very helpful, but, unfortunately, he has no more Volts to sell. I'm not up for waiting.

    Does anyone else have a preferred Washington state dealer that they can recommend with Volts on the lot to sell? It seems that many of the local dealers are too stuck in their ways and want to slap on second stickers... not cool.

    Hi Dan,

    Welcome to the site! Many people's experience here has been that a Chevrolet Volt Advisor is often the best resource for finding an available Volt. I believe they will also help to find one available at MSRP if you're having that difficulty.

    You can reach the Volt Advisors at 877-486-5846

    You'll love your Volt, I know I sure do!

    Totally agree. Call the Volt advisors. And even if none are really close, you might take a road trip to buy it. I very glad I did, and I went 800+ miles (and did sight seeing with my wife :-)

    Hi Dan,

    Where were you able to test drive a Volt? I'm in the Seattle area and very interested in buying a Volt. However, I want to test drive one first, and check on things like how well my bike or skis will fit inside.

    Dan, I just did my re order with Gilchrist Chevrolet in Tacoma ... $100 below INVOICE !! ~1500 below MSRP.
    I had to walk away from Harnish/Puyallup Chev when they attempted to add $4501 second sticker to my car when we had already agreed on the price. Idiots also lost out because I need a new Tahoe or 2500 Silverado too.

    And possibly a sale to donstim too!

    Can you PM me who I should talk to at Gilchrist? Also, how much did you need to put down, and how do you know they will hold to that price?

    Thanks,
    Don

    @Don, you've got a PM

    I put $100 down. Jason printed a sheet with all the order info (options), the MSRP and invoice prices, wrote on it minus $100 from invoice price, had me initial, then made a copy. Works out to $1340 under MSRP
