    One more thing...That term and mileage tells me the extended coverage is not the GM service contract policy. I would be concerned on any other policy not covering the Volt as thoroughly as the GM policy. You can PM me if you have any questions.

    How did you get a hold of the actual charger without SPX???

    SPX will sell you a Voltec Level 2 outright for $490. You can call them with your credit card and at least in my case I had it in about a week.

    That's what I did. You only get a one year warranty, but you can use a credit card that doubles the warranty, if you have one. At any rate, it's probably still cheaper than the crazy quotes people have been getting.

    There is some kinda scam going on with the SPX initiated installations. I got an $1169 installation quote today via SPX from their authorized electrical installer and the local electrician quoted me $250 for the same job.

    I was hoping to just use the 240V 30A outlet already installed in the garage.
