These features are loosely described in the 2012 Owner's Manual.I am attempting to clarify all of the details before I provide a detailed post, but essentially there IS or WILL BE a method for the engine start-up to be disabled by the owner when using RVS, but ONLY when plugged in. There will also the ability to select the temperature extreme (Cold or Very Cold) in wich the start up would occur if enabled (or if UN-plugged when it will ALWAYS be enabled)
What I am also attempting to ascertain if this software revision can potentially be retrofit into the 2011 models with the most recent (perhaps someone here in the forums can check? ) or some future update.
According to the Owner's Manual the ability to alter these settings on the 2012s is located in the: "Config">"Vehicle Settings" > "Climate and Air Quality"
