    Default When will a Volt Advisor contact me?

    Various threads have mentioned people being contacted by a Volt Advisor at some point in the production process. When does this typically happen? What's discussed? My Volt went to status 3300 on Friday and I'm getting curious about this unique customer service.

    Thanks for any info you can provide.

    I presume you gave your dealer a correct phone number and one by which you can be reached? I got my call right before I went to 3300.

    Hmm. I did provide a phone number, but looking at a fax of the order sent to GM I see that it only has my address and no phone. Should I mention this to the dealer or contact a Volt Advisor directly? The phone number I have for the Volt Advisors is 888-VOLT4YOU. Is that correct? Or perhaps I can contact an Advisor through this website?

    Is your Volt a customer specified order, or did you select an order already placed by the dealership as matching what you want? They get entered into GM's system with different tags. A customer direct sales Volt gets a VA assigned to the customer. A dealer ordered Volt's VA is the one assigned to the dealership, and they won't know about you (even if your name is added later to the order, I think).

    I called (yes VOLT4YOU) and got a Volt advisor assigned. Each advisor covers different states/regions. So, no need to wait. The advisor will direct you to different websites for information.... controls, tracking, 220v chargers etc. If you have specific questions you can ask them or better yet cruise this forum :-)

    I don't know about a Volt Advisor, but SPX called us about chargers when we hit 3400 status.

    dgruber,

    It sounds like we are on the same schedule. I went 3300 Friday as well and have also not been called yet. I did talk to someone at the Volt Advisor's line earlier today just to confirm a few items. The VA said he would check into which dedicated VA will be assigned to me and my dealer and that they would be in touch. That said, I really don't know how unless my dealer provided my phone details on the order.
