Love my Volt

Hello all,

Just wanted to say hello and to say that I got my Volt on May 20th, and I love it. It is the best car I have had, and I have had many, mostly Honda, Acura, Lexus and Infinity. The Volt is my first American car, and it is by far the most fun to drive.

I also always drive in L all the time, thanks to this great forum. As well as Sport mode a lot of the time.

So far I have never had to fill up at a gas station, I am always in electric mode. I was able to have installed the ChargePoint CT500, so I plug in each evening for it to wait to start charging after midnight, it works great.

One question, how does one find or have a Volt Advisor? People are talking about their advisor, but I have never been contacted by one or told about one. I don't really have any questions for an advisor yet, but maybe in the future.

you can call 877-486-5846 and ask them who your advisor is. I believe that they are assigned to specific customers based on the location of your dealership.

I agree. The Volt is an excellent car and alot of fun to drive. the most fun is not buying gas! Enjoy!

Was your Volt a custom order, or was it one the dealer ordered? If your dealer placed the order without a specific customer in mind (even if they handed it over to you later)... Dealer's don't get VAs for specific cars, only customer order customers do (at least, for the MY '11s - we'll see what happens with the MY '12s!).

I purchased my Volt off of the dealers lot and still recieved a Volt advisor, but it took a couple of weeks.
But to find the Volt I used the help of anothers Volt advisor.

I leased mine from a dealer's inventory. Had not pre-ordered a car. Didn't have a VA until i started experiencing all of the OnStar Alert problems and one was all-of-a-sudden assigned to me.
