When will Hamtramck actually re-open?

When will they actually re-open this summer and when will the first 2012 Volts actually start rolling out?

I believe it was/is scheduled to reopen around July 16 or 18th. if memory serves.

I thought I read that production rates will increase significantly as well. I think it was around 5,000 per month or "up to" 5,000 per month.

I wonder what the production schedule will be when they re-open. The earliest TPW I've seen for a 2012 Volt is July 25th, and that's for a Canadian order. I haven't see anyone is the USA with an actual TPW for a 2012, so I have to wonder if GM is either:

-starting very slowly with the 2012 production,
-producing a bunch of cars for export at the start of the year
-Filling a large quantity of US fleet orders before moving on the US retail orders.

VoltChick posted it in the Canadian Volt thread. That car is the first ordered from my dealership. I'm the second with a TPW of Aug 8th. Someone else here in Ottawa has an Aug 1st TPW. Right now, it's looking like the week of July 25th will be the 1st week of 2012 Volt production at DHAM.
