Good catch, nice to see one in a road setting. With fuel prices in Europe so high I have to believe the demand will be very high for a VOLT there.
There were 2 of them on display next to the end of the production line when we toured the plant last month. I like the looks of the Volt better.
VOLT # B-1276
I love the look of the Ampera. The bottom unpainted panels on the Volt are painted on the Ampera. Really cool.

Backup light is different. Does that light come on when braking I wonder?

Very cool. Nice catch.
In another thread someone mentioned about having the backup lights turn on during regen. The lights on the Ampera are so low (at the bumper) that I doubt they are visible enough for regen or normal braking. I definitely prefer the top brake light, either inside the rear window or on the trunk lid.

Sure, if the starting price were not sooo high (apples to apples 53200$ with leather seats).
I confirm that. Rear fog light is mandatory, but not front fog light. Usually there's rear fog light on a side (left), and the reverse light on the other (right). In Europe you need a Fog Light in most countries by law, which usually turns on when the front fogs are on or has a separate switch.
Splitting an unique light with reverse and fog light is not so usual.
Good catch anyway!![]()
