The insurance guy got back to me today and the payoff on the lease is $4,000 less than the insurance payout. I was expecting to owe money and now I am getting money back. I take back the bad things I said about US Bank.

So how did your Volt get totaled? Hope you or your family members weren't hurt in the wreck.

Awesome! Glad it worked out for you. Still, it sounds like the insurance guy came through for you, not the bank (unless I'm reading it wrong). At any rate, congratulations!

An 85 year old man in a pickup truck pulled out in front of my wife, he didn't see the bright Red car. She T boned him, he was ticketed. She was bruised and had whiplash but is doing better now. The Volt did very well in protecting her. Pictures are in my album on this forum.

That's a total bummer. Glad the harm to your wife was not worse (don't lose that insurance & contact info though... neck injuries can come back to bite you later). Did any airbags go off?

Sucks about losing your Volt, but at least the $$$ situation worked out. Hope it doesn't take long to get your new Volt!

I am glad your wife is doing better...I saw the photos you have posted and it looked like the volt did it's job of helping save your wife from even more serious injuries than she received. Glad she is ok and that the insurance claim worked out for your benefit too.

Glad your wife is safe and OK. Thank god for bags and belts and 5 star on the Volt.

US bank is cool as hell that they include gap insurance on there lease for free.
