I guess this car is definitely worth to see - if you'll see the Silver Ice Metallic Volt LE5501L parking anywhere close to the Chinook Centre, it is kubismatik's kubivolt
Everyone should see the Model S if they can! It is absolutely breathtaking.

The rule of thumb is about 8-9 hours. You are aware that battery is never completely depleted; you'll normally be left with about 30% when the ICE needs to come on.

    Volt looks good.........Enjoy!

Looks like the Volt had a good month in May delivering 211 Volts in Canada. Considering we are 1/10th the US market I would say those are good numbers. I'm starting to see some inventory around here so June could be a great month.

Paul, were you at Hog's Back yesterday evening? I spotted a black Volt parked there as I drove past.

Did any Canadians lease their Volt? I got one of the first ones in Canada back in September (I remember it was page 50 of this thread when I got it) and didn't even inquire about leasing because I was worried about them crushing the Volts like the EV1 so I wanted to buy mine, plus I figured our lease rates would be crazy high compared to the U.S. Today when I read that the 2013 Volt is going to be able to go 8 km farther I started to regret my non-leasing decision. I know in the States there is talk of $250-350 a month leases which I doubt is possible here. Just wondered if anyone would be willing to say what they paid for a lease here so that I'll either feel better or much, much worse Thanks.

Wasn't me, but I did see a new black Volt in town on Montreal Rd, probably the one Jim Tubman had out front last month. I met two new Volt owners in the last couple of days, one at a car show, his is stuck on a train, and the other snook up on me while I was napping and charging at Myers Orleans early Saturday morning waiting for my gf to finish work. He had a nice white Volt, and he wasn't driving it in L!. I got both their e-mails so when we all meet up they can tag along, they didn't know about this forum. So when are we all going to meet up? The weather is nice! This weekend?? RFMan could bring his good camera and take some nice pictures. I kinda want to do a Volt convoy downtown and do laps of Slater and Albert and all meet up at the war museum or something. It's time for a Ottawa Volt meet!

Great thanks, if the other ottawa members could send me their emails I could get a mailing list together, it would make it easier to plan a reunion.

Edit: just saw the black Volt again at startop and innes, and the myers demo take off like a rocket at orleans and st-joseph. To bad im in my work truck..
