Yes else you can just change the tire on your original set of mag. But keep in mind that changing twice a year the tire on the original set of mag can domage them. And if you buy another set of mag you can change them yourself.

If I may have the attention of the Ottawa-Gatineau owners, I started a facebook group for us, an easier means of communicating without spamming this thread. We can use it to organize meet ups, news, new charging station locations or just simply geeking out about our Volts. I would like to keep it Ottawa-Gatineau region owners as much as possible, but it's an open group.

For example I posted a get together for this coming Sunday at 4:00 p.m. at the city recreation complex in Stittsville (Goulbourn Recreation Complex, 1500 Shea Road), you're welcome to attend.

I'm not sure I can make this Sunday, but the 30th at war museum would be ideal - especially if it was afternoon. My parents down from Manitoba and my Dad is just dying to drive my Volt and I know he would be floored to see a bunch in one place! Good photo op as well.

Charging station at Le Centre Sheraton Montréal

Hi,

Just curious. Are these stations actives? Has anyone tried these stations in Montréal? If they really exist, they are the only ones in downtowm Montreal.

Confirmation for the Volt get together this coming Sunday, the 30th of September at the Canadian War Museum from 2:30pm to 5pm. As of now we have 6 confirmed, but I have a few phone calls and e-mails to send out to non Facebook users, so perhaps and I hope more can come. Bring your lawn chair if you don't feel like standing. They are calling for a nice sunny day, so it will make for great pictures. Unfortunately there are no plugs available, so gas use may be required for some, including myself, and for that I apologizes, messing up my stats! I hope to see you all there =)

Yes, those stations at the Sheraton do work.
You can also get a parking at UQAM, and use a 120v plug.
