Actually you might find it easier to print your own 2012 Volt order guide for the Volt you can use the "Print Model" feature here:

    http://eogld.ecomm.gm.com/

End result: GM LISTENS TO FIRST ADOPTER FEEDBACK!

    Damn!

The Blue Topaz exterior color and streaming Bluetooth audio are what my wife wanted, and the passive entry is what I wanted.

There has to be a way to retrofit this!

Lemmie guess. You're a guy that's owned every model iPod/Pad/Phone since it's inception!
    lol j/k

PS*We'll have to look into potential retrofit options (other than the Topaz Blue of course) once the 2012s become available- another gm-volt.com co-op project?

That is excellent news! Now I can order my future Volt in Blue Topaz Metallic, and have it look like the Autobot Jolt!

I'm pretty sure it can be done, although it may take some time, effort, and (obviously) money. It looks as though the 2012 model IS the 2011 model, with some bolt-on extras, some software changes, and some modest value engineering (e.g., speakers).

If all else fails, you can do a trade-in. :-)

The Bluetooth audio should be trivial, but the passive entry could be tough. At a minimum I'm thinking new door handles, new BCM, three new transceivers and lots of changes to the wiring harness.

Trading in a car is a bigger deal than trading in an iPhone, so I don't think I'll do that. Particularly since I am not quite as bad as WOT thinks...

LOL I was just funnin' wit ya J
Agreed on your asessment of update hardware for the passive entry, although the BCM "might" just require software. (perhaps a just a VIN "spoof"?) Maybe GM Accessories would do a kit?

The audio retrofit is cheap and easy. See http://gm-volt.com/forum/showthread....Audio-Solution.

    Yippee!!!!!!

Topaz Blue and Mylink and passive entry!!!

I guess it was meant to be that I had to wait for a 2012 model here in Youngstown, Ohio!!!

Just a few more months until I can order from my local dealer......
