    artsci, that looks amazing.
50-55+ miles spring/summer (no climate control), 45-50 summer (AC on Eco), ~30 winter (heater running)
The electric car will win one day, not because of global warming or enviro-anything, but because it is simply a superior driving and ownership experience. You read it here first.

Although I've lived in states that require them, I've never put a front plate on my cars. In over 40 years of being without a front plate on all of my cars, I've been stopped and given a warning only twice. No fines, no points, nothing of consequence. The police have better things to do than to enforce this minor law.

There was a crackdown in RI about 5 years back on not putting the front plate on. It seems a lot of people were using the front plate as a back plate on a second car to avoid the costs of registering 2 cars.

Here is my car with glossy black paint on the gray plastic parts. It wasn't chemically prepped, but used a good bonding primer. They said based upon other customers who painted on the trim it would probably be good for 3-4 years but no guarantees. They gave me a great price, so I don't feel too bad as long as it makes it 3 years. 576415_3608108436579_1470955542_n.jpg75195_3551267255585_88350758_n.jpg578418_3551274775773_2010370697_n.jpg

Nice job! I am not in favor of what Chevy does with those rocker panels and related. An 'eye-sore' to me...

Better questions: How are you? And what are you driving these days? I for one miss your presence on this forum!

I doing well, thanks for asking, and good to hear from you too!

For what I am driving these days, I still have the Jag for daily driving, which drives like butter. And I also have a twin-turbo Lotus Esprit V8 as the "fun" car.

I am really glad to see sales are brisk for the Volt despite weak sales in the alternatives electric cars.
