Default Does the Volt navigation have Elevation information?

In my other cars (Acura MDX and Corvette), the navigation system displays Elevation of the current location of the car. The Volt only shows latitude and longitude, as far as I can tell.

Press the INFO button on the center console. I think the selection after that is Navigation. Unless you're sationary, it has a lag. It is also in yards. Why, I don't know.

    EDIT:
Our home is about 840ft above sea level. Around town it changes in 25yd increments. Traveling, I've watched it move in smaller increments.

4711 yards is 14,113 feet. Was that at the top of Pikes Peak?

Yes Sir! Either the mountain grew or the nav is incorrect.

    LOL

That's about the same elevation as downtown San Antonio.

I find it odd that my old, long since discontinued, Garmin Nuvi-5000 agrees to the foot (and is displayed in feet) with the topo maps of our area. And it updates quickly to changes.

There are some good apps that will use the GPS data or an online table look up using your lon/lat to give a running alt display.
