    Smile Climate control problems

I have two climate problems I can not find how to set:
    1. How do you save your settings. They always revert the next time I start.
    2. How do you change the degrees indicated in the temperature setting display?

For #2 - to adjust the temp all you need to do is hit the red and blue arrows in the upper left - top row - of the console (just below the display).

As far as #1 goes... not sure about that. Are there particular settings that reset - like just the temp, or does everything reset?

    1 is not correct.

The setting stay as they are. I have placed the fan speed on auto , the temp to 73, and the vents to facing the driver/passenger.
They have not reset in the two weeks since I last touched those settings. The only times they reset, is when I accidentally touched the auto button.

    Thanks BxHBxH,
I forgot about the red blue buttons.

On 1. I guess I will try being careful and recheck it again. It tends to always come up auto.

It's really Really *REALLY* easy to accidentally touch the auto button, often without realizing you've done it. When I first got my car I did it ALL the time, and it really ticked me off. With practice I've gotten better at keeping accidental spare fingers away from it. But I still mess it up occasionally.

I wish they'd put something more benign in that button spot, or made that particular button less sensitive.

Oh yeah, that. That's a personalization menu choice. Press Config -> Vehicle -> Climate and Air Quality -> Auto Heated Seats

You should be able to set them to off. This is from page 5-54 to 5-55 (or there abouts) in the owners manual.

    FYI
There is now an update available for issues relating to the climate control system (VINS prior to BU100954)
Your complaint isnt specifically called out by the update though, but it recommends it be updated for "heated seat and/or blower operational issues"
I would still suggest you visit your dealer outlining your concern and they will very likely install the new software which could very likely remedy your concern as well.
