Default Call from GM - or was it?

Got a call tonight from General Motors, 703 291 9021. A young man asked if I would be willing to give feedback to be used by the GM engineering staff about the car. Of course! We all would be happy to do so - and do so regularly in this website.

After several questions, I began to wonder if it really was a GM representative on the phone. He knew nothing about the Volt and had no clue what I was telling him for answers. Although the caller ID said General Motors, I decided the call was fake and just hung up.

    Anyone else have this experience?

Thanks for this. You would think GM would want their survey folks to know more about the car than how to spell Volt.

I had a call like that from a woman, and yes it said General Motors on the caller ID. I mainly remember telling them how they need to fix the interface to music files, so that it will sort in track order and not alphabetically.

FYI.....I have found that if you record straight from CDs they DO play in album order. However if you record from MP3s they do not. Just fyi...
