I've got a bridge to sell you.
Nice ride but way to much scratch...
I own a Volt, but living in California I like to drive a convertible 7 out of 10 days. Besides the Tessla, which is too small for me, the Fisker seems to be the first convertible. I'm definitely interested in getting one. While there was a lot of news just before the Volt started to get built, there doesn't seem to be much publicity about the Fisker. Where can I find out?

Your best move is to go to the Fisker website, www.fiskerautomotive.com, then find the local dealership through which Fisker is selling. The dealer will be happy to cover anything you want to know, and show you how to navigate the website.
Fisker has gone silent for two reasons:
1) They felt that they were "teaching" competitors what they know about the electric propulsion vehicle market and best vehicle configurations to target.
2) They needed to focus on the launch of the Karma. It was too easy for them to keep entertaining the press and politicians, instead of finishing the first thing they started.
Is the motor-ICE setup on the Fisker the same as the VOLT?
If the ICE is purely used as a generator then there needs to be no physical connection between the ICE and the Motor. This would make the Fisker quite different. Would it have regeneration? Would the alternator be in addition to the motor?
