Geez, the rental fleet, while it sates a need, is not generally a place I'd expect to see the next best thing.

I would guess that if they are going to offer the Volt, it is because they are getting requests for it, and since they can lease them and offer a vehicle that has low maintenance costs and operational costs, it may have good appeal to their profit motive.

Why sell to rental companies when there are still people on waiting lists who can not get an order in and accepted! All production should have gone to customer orders only. Also dealer speculation is adding to this problem in that these same speculators are adding thousands to the MSRP. If it sounds like I am frustrated, you are right!
