Default No Radio Button on the middle dash???

Maybe I am missing something but there are lots of buttons on the middle dash that lets you push one button to get the nav, nav destination and about a million other things that I might never use. The one feature that I use on a daily basis is the radio and the only way to get to the radio screen is to use the middle dash screen to get there… why is there no button to go right to the radio function? That would seem like the most used button on the dash. Maybe I am missing something but it is really annoying. I love my Volt but this is one thing that is a “daily” usage that they seem to have missed.

Are you trying to get back to the radio display screen after having something else displayed?

"Radio Band" or "Fav" will give you the radio screen. They are just above the cd slot on the left.

The "BACK" button works for me, but I don't have Nav.

I still can't get over that to set the time it has its own button. TP, really? Couldn't put that under config and give us an off button for the climate control or something else useful? It's so silly.

After driving the 2013 company Volt here I noticed they replaced the Radio/Band button with the Home button.
I like having the dedicated button on my 2012 much better.

I just press 'home' and have the home screen configured with the 'now playing' icon as the first one.

Most of the time, I don't have any other screen up unless Nav is active (which is hardly ever).

They (GM) should really have soft menus on EVERY screen so you can jump between screens. There is so much wasted space it's unreal.

What irks me the most about the radio is that the 'now playing' line actually says 'now playing' in front of the song title making it too freakin' long to read the whole thing. Also, my local radio station uses this line for ADVERTISING. A$$hls.

sorry had to step away. I have a 2013 Volt and yes I am trying to get back to the radio home page. I can get to lots of other home pages and also 4 buttons to control the CD player that no one uses any longer but I have to use the "home" button to get the icons and then select radio. It is just one of the most used functions and should have it's own button front and center.

also the problem with the Radio/ Band button is that you have to go thru all of them the AM/FM/ XM/ Bluetooth and the like. Just does not make since
