Default Just got a Volt in Orange County, CA...w/$2,000 rebate!

Got the call this morning and drove down to purchase my Volt. When the paperwork was all written up it included a $2,000 factory rebate. They weren't sure why with the car being in such demand but there it was.

The technician needs to run through the checks so I don't get to pick it up until tomorrow....can't wait!

Along with the 0.6% APR, the $2000 rebate is how GM is subsidizing the lease -- that's how they are able to offer the $350/36 lease deal.

Now, if the $2000 appeared on a straight purchase, then I suppose that's new information, but I'm not really that surprised.

Ahh. Good point ChrisC. I was thinking it was a lease. If he bought it outright then great deal!

Did you lease or purchase it?

Thanks for the photo. Drive safely in the rain. Depending on delivery, I hope to pick up my Volt next week in OC.

    Enjoy your Volt.
