Cool! I like the locale, out in the desert, implying extreme ERV!!
I think it would have made more sense if they were driving in the city. On a long trip we will have to stop at a gas station about as often as any other car.
Robert, the point they are making is that you CAN be out in the middle of the desert and you CAN stop at a gas station. You can't in a Leaf, or in the typical electric car that might be lodged in the brain of the average Joe that they are trying to reach.

It's a lot to say in a short, 15-second ad, when you consider the whole EREV concept is new to the vast majority of people just now getting some Volt exposure.
They concisely get the basic information out there and hopefully get people's attention enough to look into it further. I like it!
OK, did anybody else notice something wrong with that picture?
That poor girl has to bull ride that battery hump! lol, If only they had a fifth seat! Ugggggggg!.![]()

Wow I didn't even notice that before! I had to go back and do some freeze framing. There's no shot showing 3 in back, so they aren't really misrepresenting it as a 5-passenger car. Looks to me like she is in the seat, but leaned way over to the middle to her her face in the camera shot. But in the final shot from behind the Volt, it looks like her head is in the middle of the car. Guess she just likes to lean over a lot to see where' dad's driving...
