iPhone / iPod Integration

If one of you CABbies has an iPod or iPhone, could you please check this?

I tested my iPhone with a Volt at the Unplugged Chicago test drive, and I loved the integration with the iPod functions. But I did not test the following: If you attach the iPod/iPhone to the Volt's USB port, can you play audio from other apps (such as Pandora, WunderRadio, etc.) through the Volt's stereo, or are you only able to play audio from the iPhone app?

My experience has been that the iPod integration (I have a Gen 5 model) is definitely there. Unfortunately, the iPhone integration via the USB is limited such that it treats it like a dumbed-down iPod/USB drive. Therefore, I've used the Aux port to play Pandora radio from my iPhone 3GS.

I have an iPhone and had similar concerns. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the audio from apps (e.g. NPR, CNN apps) do in fact play over the stereo through USB. The sound quality is excellent by the way and the quietness of the Volt contributes greatly.
