order date or dealer allottment

i put in an order on 9-8-2010 for chevy volt at loman blaiseous in waterbery ct. my order date is a lot later than others that are posted,which would make me think i would get mine alot later. when talking to my dealer he told me i was number 4 at their dealership,he didnt know their alotment yet but didnt think they would get less then 4 because their the largest chevy dealer in ct. that being the case could i get a volt before someone who ordered a month or two before me but their dealer has a smaller allotment

I may order today (10/18/10) from Selman Chevrolet in Orange, California. If I do, I'll be #10 in line. As they told me, they will be getting two vehicles a week starting on 11/29/10. So, being #10, my vehicle would arrive 5 weeks later or around January 3rd, 2011. Then, they'd have to arrange to ship it to me here in Albuquerque so add another week or two. Selman has an initial allocation of 28 vehicles.
