This could effect the Volt because it looks like its possible that oil prices could be going down.

Ok yesterday in the article about the mule schedule in the comments section. Aruby pointed out an article in business today about why gas prices are so high. Which had to do with commodities trading. It turns out there are two loopholes allowing investment banks to trade oil and gas, driving up prices when there is no supply and demand problem. The loopholes are called the enron loophole and the foreign exchange loophole. Read businessweek article first to get a grasp of the issue.

It seems some believe that investments outside the U.S will keep prices high so it's hard to say.
