Default Touch up paint for Rims? And a warning

Put my all seasons back on my car the other day. When using the torque wrench, a small nub protruding from the wrench ended up scraping against the painted alloy wheel, ouch! So angry!

So just a warning to everyone on that. I never had that happen with another car, but will certainly be more careful in the future.

Does GM sell touch up paint for these wheels? I'm also concerned that the clear coat was scraped off too, and want to spray a little of that back on as well, to avoid corrosion.

You may also want to check Dr. Colorchip web site. I have used their products with very good results, I can no longer find most of the chips I have fixed.

Thanks. I did check out their site after reading your post, but they don't seem to have any touch up paint for the alloy wheels, just the body color.

Testors #1146 Silver Argent might be good enough. It will cost $1 to find out.
