Please explain to me why on earth we would be using imported Win Turbines from China on this massive project instead of supporting a domestic manufacturer???

... Because the Chinese are funding the project. He who has the gold makes the rules.

If there was a domestic source for funding, then they could demand domestic suppliers.

Hate to break it to many of you but the Chinese are fully on-board for the green revolution. Are we going to sit back and watch them take the global market? Probably.

Remember the Cold War? How about we start the Green War? Yes! We can beat the Chinese and the Germans. lol. Hey, we have to try something to get Americans to compete.
