    Default Final quote from Dealer - Should I do it?

    The dealer won't come down any more, and there are doing what KBB says for my trade. Here is the package, and the price they are giving me, before tax. How does this compare? The Volt does have to be shipped in, because they only carry one or two on stock, and I don't like either one.

    Since you got the Final Quote, here is the Final answer: Yes, go ahead and do it! Then spend some of your time reading the recent posts in Buying/Leasing section of this forum and learning that you could've gotten the same car for thousands less!

    It's not a great price. Not terrible either.

    Are you set on that particular color/configuration? Do you need/want the car right away, or would you be ok waiting a couple months for a custom ordered one?

    Either way, it doesn't hurt to just make some calls to other dealers to see if they can beat that offer. It's always a good idea to shop around.

    Thanks for the info. Yeah, there's not many other colors that I like. I don't need the car right away. How does a custom ordered one work? Is one built to what I order? Is the price generally cheaper then dealer trading?

    Honestly, thats a terrible price. If youre in chivago, i can guess the dealer. I just got done shopping in chicago and happy to chat via pm.

    Not Chicago, but close. I live in Champaign, IL. I expect to pay a little premium for living in a smaller city.

    Horrible price. You can buy from other states from high volume dealers and have its shipped for thousands less. You need to be below 38k right now to be competitive with them.

    Walk unless you want to be the chump of the month. A small premium is one thing. This is thousands over market.
