Can you change the center stack face cover easily?

I have a diamond tricoat white 2013 Volt that came with the beige cloth seat and dark brown center stack face cover. I was hoping for the white center stack cover but it didn't come in white.

I wonder if it'd be easy to change out for a white cover or not, and if yes, where can I order the white cover and for how much? Thanks.

No, another stupid policy by GM.

They will not sell the white centerstack part and its also very expensive and they have discontinued it.

I would gladly pay a decent price to change mine but GM doesn't want to take our money.

Just another reason to buy my next car from another company.

I tried to find an old thread that showed covers for many of the interior parts, but could not find it now. There is some supplier that makes a variety of covers from real wood to carbon fiber and replacement type plastic in many colors. Sorry, I couldn't find it now, perhaps the original poster or another member remembers enough about it to help. Did some more looking on the net and I think it is Carid that I was thinking of.

Pity you're not closer to me. I've got a 2013 with black cloth seats, which mandates a white center stack. It was the only thing I was unhappy about when I ordered. It doesn't bother me as much now, but when my Volt was delivered even my salesman was panicking (he thought they'd screwed up) I'd love to have the dark stack if I could get it. Trading with another Volt seems to be the only way to go. The only difference I can think of would be Nav and non-Nav units (unless every Volt has the Nav button?)

It can't be that difficult to swap the bezel between two Volts. Mine has already been removed to have the radio replaced. Even if you paid the dealership to do the swap, I can't see it taking longer than an hour.

The white one on Ebay is not for US cars. If you zoom in you will see that the Unlock button is on the left and the power button is on the right. I sent the seller an email telling him that it will not fit US cars and that he needs to correct his listing.

It would be interesting to know if those buttons are simply in the wrong "slot." If they have individual cables pulled to them, they could very easily just be reversed. If you look at the other picture, it still has a LHD setup, and the buttons in the correct spot, and that interesting shifter as well.

Yes, the lock/unlock vs drive-mode buttons could maybe be "swapped". However, the picture on the left must be some "stock" one he found. Can't be the same as the one on the right, since the parking brake is reversed, and it can not be "swapped", since it will only go in that "slot" (size issue).
