Default Feeler: 2014 Volt Premium -22K miles - $16K- NorCal

Debating whether to turn this back to US Bank or to sell it outright

    - Ashen Gray
    - Immaculate condition and I do mean it.
    - Maybe used 2 tanks of gas
    - I assume new buyer can pay the sales tax to US Bank
    - All options (leather, safety, etc.)

Car is located in the SF bay area

How do you sell a car you don't own?. Or are you saying you got US Bank to sell it to you for less than 16K and your hoping to filp it.

I suspect your thinking to flip it, but your going to have issues with taxes

Yes, negotiating with US Bank right now and trying to get the buy out price down. In CA I think new buyer has 10 days to pay taxes to the DMV. Only want to pay them once!

I did this before with an MX lease I had.

Sheeeh - I took a try at Beepi and their online offer was between $9,350 and $11,850!

Goes to show what a ripoff they are. These cars wholesale at $13.8K and retail at $17.5K at Manheim auctions.

Buy low, sell high. Its the foundation of all successful businesses. Isn't that exactly what your trying to do?

Yes but I'm not being greedy and trying make 33% on my transaction - :-)

US Bank started out at $16.8K including tax. Back out the tax and it's roughy $15K - Beepie is offering $5K (33%) less give take a few $$.

    - With the low mileage and in Excellent condition, I was told those are up to date numbers.

It's a little over a grand less. I looked as I was reading your post. The person you got that from may have looked at the ones for sale not sold records. Dealers ALWAYS hardcore inflate numbers on cars for sale on manheim. They do more than auctions. It's a dealer network for selling cars like autotrader style as well.
