    Default Plugless Power

Not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but I have been using the Plugless wireless charging system outside in the elements for a year now. Have had leaves, 8" snow, and other items on the pad...outside. To date, no problems, and pleased with the performance. It is quite nice to not have to plug in.

Just wanted to offer an update for other members now that I have some long term experience with this unit.

Is there a way to measure the inefficiencies of using this system vs plugging in?

Did charging cause that 8" of snow to melt and refreeze on the pad?

Not that I am aware. My interest was a decrease in charging time verse the supplied 110 system and convenience.

My wife pulled in over the pad...the wall pad with the arrows guided her even though there was snow on the ground. I did not pay attention whether the snow was melting or not? Good question, I will pay attention if we have snow again.

since mine can barely manage to charge in my garage, that surprises me.

Heya Peevee - (Steve with Plugless - i've DM'ed and replied to a previous string) have you contacted customer care about any issues you are having? If not, Leanne and team work really hard at trouble shooting. 800.799.8290 or email info@evatran.com. Feel free to contact me directly should you want. [disclosure - I work for Plugless] - the pad doesn't get that warm that it rapidly melts snow. For example this video of our company Volt is after a full day of charging the day before: https://www.pluglesspower.com/learn/plugless-snow/

    Charge on!

    Yep.
Over it. I plug in to my 3 year old voltec charger wired for 240 because it charges RELIABLY.
