Does anyone else think that the Husky Liner floor mats provide better thermal isolation/insulation than the stock Gen II Volt carpet and floor mats? I purchased my Husky Liner mats in July and noticed right away that I did not feel the road heat through the floor of the Volt like I did before I installed the Husky mats. This winter I have frequently driven my Volt using minimal electric heat and just the heated seat and steering wheel. Others on the forum have complained that their feet get cold but my feet do not usually feel cold. I attribute this to the unexpected insulating properties of the Husky Liner mats.
Drive electrically and enjoy the difference!
