    Default Front recovery hook?

The 2016 Volt Playbook that I received from my dealer lists a front recovery hook as standard on both trims. I found that curious, because when I had the Volt for a test drive, I looked for hooks in the front and back and couldn't find any.

Can someone who has a 2016 Volt tell me if they can find the hook? The reason I am in interested is because I'd like to use it for a kayak front tie-down.

It should be in with the air pump, tire goo and such, under the trunk floor. It may be under all of that stuff.

Your Volt is too loud. Really!
Your Volt is too unfinished. Seriously.
Your stuff in the trunk is too visible. Not cool!
Your floor mats are too small. They aren't up to the job.
Your phone and GPS block your view. And you don't need cords all over.
Your radiator is too vulnerable. Beware of small caliber rocks and racoons!!!
Your trunk is too dark, the floor is unprotected, and your rear console needs a cover.

It's actually a big eye-bolt, not a "hook". It should be under the cargo deck.

I posted pics and instructions how to use somewhere on this board. It's underneath everything in the trunk, and it's LEFT hand thread.

This search engine is bizarre, but finally found it, click to see the hook and how to install:

Thanks, all! I couldn't see the cover for the front hook when I looked at my test-drive vehicle--guess it just wasn't where I expected it to be.

This is good news for being able to tie-down a kayak! Now if only somebody would start making a roof rack for a 2016 Volt, I'd be all set. (I'm gambling on Rhino doing so--hope it isn't a gamble I lose!)
