Burst of air when HVAC off

Driving to work this AM, I experienced a momentary burst of air from the dash vent even though the climate system was off. Just curious if anyone else has experienced this, or knows what the cause is/was.

If you have it in fan and the car decideds it needs AC for for TMS (to keep the battery cool) or for anti-fogging, that AC will still be in the vent system and will come out to to confuse unsuspecting users.

You can turn off auto defogger in the config vehicle settings.

I've also noticed this when the system is in Fan only mode and the fan is completely off. Also, the system is set to fresh air not recirculate. It seems to me to coincide with cars that are passing me and are slightly I front of my windshield. Pressure difference causing air to momentarily flow thorough the vents?
