Default Maybe I should have bought an F150 after all

Apparently, global warming could save us from the next global freeze.

Remaining arguments for buying a Volt:
    1. Save money
    2. Stop funding terror
    3. Cool car

    Which one works for you?

LOL, they can't seem to predict the weather for later this week, let alone the next global freeze.

Bottom line: The research needs a closer look.

Nothing to get excited about. It says in the article itself this idea hasn't even been peer reviewed. Which means there is a long way to go before this theory can be taken seriously.

That's right. Earth goes through heating and cooling cycles. It is hot as Sh#$t in Texas a little cooling would be welcomed.
Those that claim "Early adopter" Status , should sign up for the MARS mission right now. The more adopters go to Mars the better we are here on Earth.

Man, if I could just create a list of folks (or group of folks) that I would like to see going to Mars as soon as possible; we all would be better of and benefit in a big way and right away. Trump, Boehner, Clinton, Kardeshians......

So now they think they can predict what the Sun is going to do? Right. The experts are still scratching their heads trying to figure out why their 10 year min/max models failed.

Global warming leads to ice ages, this is historically accurate, reason is the water currents that pump heat to the north tend to STOP when temperatures get too high, this results in a massive lost summer affect in the north.

    Ah well.

From the article..."This isn't published research yet," he said. "Our ability to forecast the specifics of a solar cycle is incredibly poor. It's worse than forecasting in a hurricane season."

Lol. Studying 32 years out of 5 BILLION (approximate age of the Sun) is a pretty small (miniscule) sample. Back in the '60s we had a bunch of sun spot activity. Before this study began. I couldn't get anything on the tube set in my '63 Fairlane except static.

Modeling the universe is a very difficult thing to do. Especially when you're in it!

Relax while the car does most of the work with Adaptive Cruise.

Has 'cars that are nice to drive' gone out of fashion?

We need Kardashians to distract the masses from what we're really doing. I'd make Clinton the pilot, just to be sure the ship crashes.

P.S. Come on up here. I was wearing winter clothes earlier this month.

Comes under "Cool Car". I'm ambivalent on the terror funding bit. It isn't necessary - we can make plenty over here.

So it's down to 2 reasons.......... Funny thing, those are my two.

But anyway, to the OP I think I'll take my Silverado out for a spin today. No reason, just 'cuz.
