    Public chargers are in need of multiple plugs and software to shuttle the charge between several vehicles. For example if a vehicle is plugged in and you arrive with State of charge @ 50% and the first vehicle is @ 90% , then the software should switch to your vehicle for a short period then alternate between vehicles.

    First come first served, sorry! Longer cords to reach more spots is the answer; when the car is done charging another can come along and switch the cord to their car without having to wait for the original person to move their car out of the spot.
