Figured I'd bring this back. These numbers are cheating a bit, because I drove 350+ miles in Mountain Mode before switching back to Normal Mode about 30 miles out from home. However, I didn't deplete and regenerate using Mountain Mode, so all the EV miles are from the original battery charge and regenerative braking.

Several things "wrong" here...
#1. You bumped me to third place record holder...
#2. I can do these 60 & 70 mile trips because I have no traffic out here in the sticks...
#3. My Gawd, man, you did this in LA traffic? You deserve a medal or a Harley for this feat
CONGRATULATIONS...
15,000 miles 1st year, never-EVER bought gas. 225 all electric miles in one day, A gazillion MPG, no kidding http://www.voltstats.net/Stats/Details/1791
Hah! Well, the first 40 miles I did all electric (before Mountain Mode kicked the ICE on) were on country roads in Northern California. The last 30 miles in LA traffic weren't bad. I had already made it to the city streets by the time I depleted the battery and was running CS Mode. It's not that big of a deal, really. I'm just more surprised that I was able to maintain close to 39 mpg at ~70 mph for over 350 miles.
