Congratulations on your congress giving you a rebate, when the Volt is introduced. I sincerely hope that the Canadian government will do the same, long before the car is available in Canada.
I further hope that the car will be offered in Canada at exactly (or before) the time that the car is available in the US.
It will be interesting to see if the Volt, like the new Boeing airliner, will be delayed again and again, due to technical concerns.
It sounds like the Japanese will be the first to have an electric car out, in 2009. We'll see.
I would be happy to pay a deposit to ensure that I am one of the first in Canada to get a Volt, but the dealers are pleading ignorance.
I have signed up on this website as an interested buyer, but again, we'll see.
