Its easier for me to use MyLink and just plug in the phone to charge.
Odd. I was able to play both Slacker and Pandora in my Volt through the USB without a real problem. Pandora got the display screen right, too - all the singer/song details, length of song and where it is in the song - slacker stayed on the info from the first song for some reason, but otherwise worked right.

Thats how it works with Bluetooth.
But I have no way of switching to Slacker when I am plugged into the USB port.

I had this problem at first. The solution for me was to turn off the Gracenote "Normalization" in the radio config, and embed my cover art right in my .mp3 files. It increased the size of my library less than 1% to add these small .jpg files, and there are good open source utilities (like "mp3tag") available to help you do it.

The Gracenote "fill in the blanks" feature guessed incorrectly so often, that it was just about useless to me. Worse, actually. It messed up my cover art in particular, quite a lot. IMHO, if you can't guess right, don't guess, just don't show cover art or missing tag data. So I just shut it off.

Something good came of it though... It's really motivated me to clean up my music library.

Which I haven't completely finished yet, of course

I'm curious, do you guys use your HDD? I have a fully loaded 2012 minus mylink, but with 300+ CD's worth of my music on my HDD, I'm very happy. Add the radio in the mix and it is quite a variety without having to bring my phone into the mix. Although I do have audio jack in my car if I REALLY feel the need to listen to Pandora or something. Anyway just curious.
