2013 Rattle Solved

With silence, comes the annoyance of more sounds like the new rear center storage console (Premium option). It looks nice, but mine rattles inside its mount. I removed it. Rattle gone.

I am used to having to isolate noises in older cars. The build quality of this contraption isn't that great. A gas engine may have otherwise hidden it. I hope this helps other trouble-shooters. Wedging something here, or there, will probably take care of it.

It is a warranty item. What did the dealer do? What did your Volt advisor say. You may have gotten a Volt that has a few issues but mine is flawless, as well engineered and assembled as any car I've owned including several luxury brands.

I agree with your statement about the assemble. To me, the Volt seems very well built and engineered. My only big complain is that getting in and out of the backseat is a pain. I have hit my head several times and I am not a tall guy.
