2013 Volt Charge Level Preference Default of 8 Amps

does anyone know, if you can use other 110/120v EVSE chargers with a 2013? (or a Volt 11/12 evse?)

and will those default to 8amp too?

The car is defaulting to 8 amps, not the EVSE. We will have to wait & hope for a software update from GM.
