Default Putting Photo on First Post

"Now that new forum threads are appearing on the frontpage of GM-Volt please upload a relevant image into the first post of new threads using the attachment tool (in the advanced editor). It will display on the front page too."

I must be missing something each time I try this the attachment comes up in the post.

    Any suggestion?

I've tried to do this too taking numerous different shots at it all with no success either. I can't figure it out. I tried the advanced editor and it's attachments function. Very cumbersome and hard really work through. If someone can clue us in I'd be happy to accommodate the suggestion/request.

Yes, that's how it works. It shows up in the post and on the front page.

This has nothing to do with the subject, but rather MTN Ranger's message footer. Your blog included the the YouTube video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TIzKzbxW-Wc

I think that Chevrolet should shorten it a bit and turn it into a commercial.

    OK

If it works why do all the posts have the same set of photos and why do they keep changing location. Including this one that I didn't attach a photo to.

It used to work fine, but the last few posts I tried all ended up with 'x' where a photo should be on the Home page. I regularly attached photos to my posts (even just news photos) to clarify content. I haven't had a successful photo show up in a couple months. I thought it was me; guess not.

I think the site has disabled this functionality, either by accident or intentionally.

Yes, it used to work that way, now it doesn't. I'm not sure why.
