The lighting looks much more realistic on the pearl-white version. the result is that I think it looks 100% better than the initial color, and I could already get past the color in the initial one to appreciate its wagon-ness.

Yes. The Sunburst color is not for everyone. My wife and I like it so I did that one first. Now if I could just get GM to do a wagon.
Black is nice...

I think the wagon is a great idea. This would extend the Volt platform's utility and acceptability. I would have a difficult choice between the two, but if all things were equal (price, performance, etc.), I'd be inclined to go for the wagon.
The picture work is excellent, BTW.![]()
the cake is a lie!
That white wagon looks way better than the real Volt. It'll be a while before we see something like that on the roads I think![]()
I'd hope that they'll make a wagon version at some point.
That and a 2 door hatchback.
Well, a Volt sportwagon would fall somewhere between the A3 Sportback and the A4 Avant. A Q7 is a great huge nasty thing... I like Audis in general and I despise the Q7, it's ill proportioned, oversized and WAY overpriced. It was spawned in the unholy Kingdom of Crossover as a pointless alternative to the excellent A6/S6 Avants.
Great Job! I'd buy it!!
I love "sport" wagons and still own one in fact (the short-lived Saabaru 9-2X)
IMO station-wagons are the frugal man's SUV
Lot's of room to load just enough gear to get out there and DO IT!
4-mtn bikes, 2-couples, 2 tents, 4 lawn chairs, 2 coolers of food, 2 flats of beer and 2 bottles of wine and it's a GREAT WEEKEND in my books! (fit THAT in your Prius)
WopOnTour
Ditto on the cool art work! But I'll take the SUV version!!
If you're not tripping breakers, you're not making progress!
