Good point that if you qualify for one Blink you qualify for two. I did but just went with one since I didn't really need two and I'm more interested in wireless charging. But there is no downside to asking. If both are covered why not get two? If only one is covered because of the length of the run, one 240v may suffice. Probably will actually. With two Volts you've got at least 80 miles of electric range a day.

No electrician in their right mind would put two 240v chargers on one circuit, but I think you easily program for this. Just have Volt 1 complete the charge by X Time and Start Volt 2 charging at X + 5 minutes. Or just have Volt 1 stop at Time X and Volt 2 start at Time X + 5 minutes.

Wow, I've enjoyed 120 Volt charging since owning, with maybe one or two days when I'd could have used a quick charge. I do want the 240 Volt "just because" And it's good to see it doesn't cost much.

Default Stating the obvious, the federal rebate is $7500. May want to buy over two years.

Unless you have $15,000 in taxes anyway.

"I don't suppose the 2 Volts' computers are able to coordinate charging to let one finish before the other starts are they?"

You could set setup each volt with a different "off peak" schedule and they could coordinate that way.

This is easy to do and you would set this up using the in car screen charging menu or via the myvolt.com

BUT one car many not get a full charge and it is not a big deal to get two circuits for charging - start flipping breakers and see whats available.

I have two Volts and my son has one. We have a SPX level 2 charger and 2 Voltec level 1 chargers all on separate circuits. The level 2 chargers allow us to charge 2 cars as it only takes 4 hours for a full recharge. My son also partially charges with the level 2 charger sometimes. I would recommend you get a level 2 charger.
