NO Thanks, the 499 ESEV is a rip off, you'll be spending north of 5K for cordless ones

Not for me. I won't consider an electric car without an ICE as backup. And, I would never consider anything other than an American badged automobile.

I love it. Wireless charging is the future. Would I spend $5K for it? Nope. But prices will drop. From the car side it's not a big deal.
Actually prices will be in the $2500 range for some of the first wireless units. Expensive? Yes, but to some people spend that much on audio or Nav for their cars.
2012 Blue Topaz Volt - VIN:#C-8909 - Leather Seats Black with Dark Trim, Rear Camera
9/15/11 Ordered, 11/18/11 Arrived (highly efficient signature zone) Volt Stats
I am actually 1 of 500 getting wireless charging installed in my MY13 Volt sometime in the Fall. Price is similar to Coulomb charger and install without the DOE grant.
Google around here has a few test cars using http://www.pluglesspower.com - personally I believe wireless vehicle charging solves a problem that really doesn't exit.
We should have a pic of the car...
