Your electric company is who you should be asking... Do you have a digital meter that isn't read by an actual human-being (aka meter reader)? If so, your electric company should be able to determine a charging schedule for your Volt. Contact them and find out. If your electric company is an "Investor Owned Utility" (aka I.O.U) they should be very receptive. If they are an electric cooperative, they won't give a rat's bohunkas, because Electric Cooperatives are not as regulated from state and federal agencies, yet they receive millions and millions of $$$ each year from the feds... The I.O.U.s get to show the feds they are being aggressive in working with customers in these "off-hours" charging perks and thus they usually promote these incentives.
15,000 miles 1st year, never-EVER bought gas. 225 all electric miles in one day, A gazillion MPG, no kidding http://www.voltstats.net/Stats/Details/1791

My SPX Blink installation is scheduled for a couple of weeks out. Their original quote was $1800 (600 out of pocket for me). My own electrician ran the cable and set up an outlet for $300 (I actually had him put in a 2nd outlet), the new quote to just hang it came to $1050 which is under the $1200 so actually free now.

So, now it occurs to me that with a 2nd Volt, I could qualify for a 2nd Blink, but the subsidy has dropped to $400 so I guess that one would cost me $650. Hmm. Maybe still worth it. I may call them and see if it could be less than that if they install 2 at once. The outlets are both there.
