Favorite GM Advertisement?

I really like the Malibu Eco TV commercial. The driver looks to be a guy in his early 40s... His mom is in the front seat and dad is in the back... They have no idea (about the Eco boost) and they are concerned their son is spending a fortune on gasoline... He explains the Eco technology and it goes right over his parents heads... (Geeze, I'm not much younger than his parents... and I still haven't figured out everything on my Volt... geezers, don't ya just love us?)

His parents are baffled at what he is saying at how efficiently his Malibu runs. His dad says "Whhhoooo, that's Hippy Talk..." (as in John Denver saying "Far out man..." and they offer him $2 for gas... I suppose if gas hits $4 per gallon, that would get you about 18 miles in a Malibu Eco..

I love it... I just wish they used a Volt in this commercial.

If I had a son who owned a Volt, I'd say "Here son, take 5 kilowatts..." and I'd be getting my kid (if he drove a Volt like I drive my Volt) about 35 miles or better, for less than a buck... My God, I'm a cheapskate

I am expecting the 2016 Malibu to have a Voltec drivetrain, so those $2 can give him over 50 miles.

Brought back memories for me... Jumpin' Jack Fkash.. I was doing that in my 1970 Camaro at 18...
Sad they banned that TV commercial... Kids lie that go on to fly jets, join the Navy SEALS, you get the idea. And Hollywood bans it.

TV commercials like that inspire that age group to dream of flying fighter jets, join the Navy SEALS... climb Mount Everest... and Hollywood bans it.... geeze.

Actually it wasn't Hollywood that banned it it was some mother's against something group.
