A video ad, WITH SOUND?

I was just reading a post entitled something like "Tired of seeing ads on this site..." when I heard an ad playing through my speakers!! This is a note to the owners of this site:

YOU NEED TO GET CONTROL OF THIS AND STOP IT.

I, for one, will not be affected because, due to my real hatred of annoying ads, I will not be returning to this site. But if you don't want to lose more you'd better do something about it.

Me too I was shocked !!
The best way I found to stop it on my Mac, I uninstalled Flash player.

You'd think a programmer guy would know how to install an ad blocker program, either as a plugin or add-on to your browser!

I put adblocker+ on my system years ago, have not seen an ad here at all, just a little gap between posts labeled "Advertisement".

There was a week or two I stopped visiting, because *every* time I would return to the gm-volt home page, the ad would scream "CONGRATULATIONS! YOU WON!".
