    I read this is going to China. Buick is the touchstone over there. And let's face it, $3.50 per gallon there for workers making a few grand a year is a lot of cash. They need electrics as much as we do. 4QOPEC.

    I have to believe it will be a CUV, possibly destined or even made in China. The upper-middleclass in China is growing fast (managers of workers, not the line workers themselves). The lineworkers making a few bucks a day will still ride bikes or drive electric or gas powered scooters. This ain't for them. GM's future growth is in Asia, we have to believe that. They sold more vehicles in China than in the USA last quarter, if I remember correctly.

    My sincerest apologies! When I wrote that article, it was based on information I got off the internet. I have no official knowledge that GM intends to make a Buick version much less a name for it. Sorry for falling prey to the "if it's on the internet, it must be true" pitfall. The solar charging station is fact, however. Come by and plug into the sun beginning in September.
