Thanks all, I picked mine up from Ed Bozarth in Lone Tree - excellent experience with a salesperson who knew the car inside and out. I'll go check out tint crafters this week. Any thoughts on a clear bra?

Congrats and welcome to the Volt experience. I've had mine for just a little over a month and am totally enamored with it. I'd highly recommend a window tint to help with the heat reflection this summer. Enjoy!
And hello from yet another new Colorado Volt owner. I live in Fort Collins and my 2012 Volt is Viridian Joule. (How do they come up with these names?) Sometimes it looks silvery blue and sometimes the hue is silvery green. So far there are about 500 miles on the odometer. I'm not yet paying too close attention to my driving style (economically speaking), but my lifetime mpg so far is 207.
Congrats and welcome. You at CSU or one of the companies? Any charging at work?
Viridian Joule was actually chosen by a naming competition

Welcome to the family! Enjoy the ride!
He said, he'd need more time. I think it's balancing out the shrink wrapping properties of window tint during the application to move in sync with the slight surface uneveness. He made the application so the very slight slivers around each and every dot became a pattern, almost looks like an artist did the work rather than tint guy. Much better than just a film slip on. I asked him actually to avoid applying it over the dot matrix and he said, you'll lose too much of the Suntek Carbon CXP superior heat rejection properties. He said, "trust me, I know how to make this work." In fact, no bubbles, and the Suntek Carbon XP looks beatiful and the heat rejection properties are exceptional. Surprisingly, the tint guy refused to do my front window with the clear tinting. He said too much water and liquids will go down into the electrical work. On a car like this he said, he doesn't want the liability.
Adam, as a friendly Volt family member, I do recommend the tint guy on Jordan road. Not everyone is going to understand that dot matrix tinting requirement. You'll see that posted here. Many of the films just won't do this right. You may want to read up on the more modern, much better heat rejecting nano materials. Ceramic and carbon are out there now. I went with the carbon to keep the black/charcoal coloring over the purplish and quite ugly ceramic reflections.
