I think it is going to be Chevy's second best sales month for the Volt, again.

Incentives to clear out 2012s did certainly help to achieve this goal.
However, there are certainly buyers waiting for the 2013 MY, which does lower 2012s sales.
The june shutdown could also bring a lower sales volume, inducing the shipping delay.
In Canada, there are actually no incentives - financing rate is at a 5% charged rate, I think dealers
can lower their transport fees to help sales. Most canadian buyers will tend to wait for a 2013, as it is
technically superior, for the same price.

So, my guesstimate is at 1965 US deliveries, and around 75 canadian deliveries.

Inventory as of yesterday was: 4399

Periods since Jan 30 that had higher inventory:

    1/30-2/9 11 days
    3/15-3/30 15 days
    6/11-7/26 46 days

    Total day: 72
    Total days in period: 179
    Total days below 4399: 107

So, I'd say inventory is slightly above the average, but not aggressively so.

Technically superior in some ways yes. That being said, I'm glad to have my MY2012 because the changes made to the 110v charger and default low amp charge rate would really bug me. It would pretty much force me to install a 220v charger which would be cool but an unnecessary expense since I find the 110v to be perfect for my needs. Here in Idaho, the power is cheap but there are no incentive programs for charger installation.

Whatever the number, it's not going to change what Steve Doocy and Gretchen Carlson say.

Has anyone else noted how much faster the miles are piling up on http://www.chevrolet.com/volt-electric-car.html ? Looks like EV miles are increasing at ~ 2000 miles per minute. Sure seems like that points to a lot more Volts on the road this month than last month.

Marketwatch says the numbers will be out on Wednesday the 1st. They have been pretty accurate in the past.

Big jump in inventory over the weekend. Was at 4399 on Saturday, and is at 4663 on Monday. In the LA area alone, they added 60 Volts. Must be the 2013s finally arriving. Not going to change my numbers, however.
